Instructions

  1. Select a heavy, smooth butternut squash with a rich color.
  2. Peel the squash, cut off both ends, slice it in half, scoop out the seeds, and cut into slender fries.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper, tossing to coat.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  6. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces.
