- 1 medium butternut squash (about 2–3 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
Instructions
- Select a heavy, smooth butternut squash with a rich color.
- Peel the squash, cut off both ends, slice it in half, scoop out the seeds, and cut into slender fries.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper, tossing to coat.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces.

- Experiment with seasonings like cayenne pepper, Italian herbs, or Parmesan cheese for added flavor.
