Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450 g) chicken breast tenders
- 1 cup (100 g) breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- 1/2 cup (60 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray or olive oil
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Dipping sauce of your choice
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by slicing it into elongated strips and patting it dry.
- Create a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with spices.
- Coat each chicken tender in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket and arrange the chicken tenders in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove the tenders, let them rest for a couple of minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use fresh chicken breast tenders for the best results.
- Adjust cooking time based on the size of the chicken tenders.
- For a spicy version, add cayenne pepper or chili powder to the breadcrumb mixture.
- For gluten-free options, substitute with gluten-free flour and breadcrumbs.
