Description

Crispy and flavorful fish tacos made in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge fish in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat in cornmeal mixture.
  4. Place fish in air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet.
  7. Assemble tacos with fish, cabbage, salsa, and cilantro.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use any white fish like cod or tilapia.
  • Adjust spices to your preference.
  • For extra flavor, marinate fish for 30 minutes before breading.
