Instructions
- Activate the yeast by combining warm milk and yeast in a small bowl; let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add pumpkin puree and melted butter to the yeast mixture, then combine with the dry ingredients to form a dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic, then let it rise in a greased bowl for about 1 hour.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, sprinkle with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon, then roll and cut into slices.
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) and grease the basket. Place the rolls in the basket and air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the icing by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth, then drizzle over the warm rolls.
