- Chopped walnuts: 1/2 cup (optional)

Instructions
- Prepare the Medjool dates by pitting and slicing them open without cutting all the way through.
- Make the toffee sauce by melting butter, adding brown sugar, stirring until smooth, then mixing in vanilla extract and heavy cream.
