Description

Almond dacquoise cream clouds are elegant French cookies made with almond meringue and filled with creamy goodness.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, mix almond flour and powdered sugar.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
  5. Gradually add granulated sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
  6. Fold the almond mixture into the egg whites gently.
  7. Spoon or pipe the mixture onto the prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until lightly golden.
  9. Let cool completely.
  10. Whip heavy cream with vanilla extract and salt until stiff peaks form.
  11. Spread cream on half of the cooled meringue cookies and top with the other half.
