Description
Almond dacquoise cream clouds are elegant French cookies made with almond meringue and filled with creamy goodness.

- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 4 egg whites
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix almond flour and powdered sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add granulated sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the almond mixture into the egg whites gently.
- Spoon or pipe the mixture onto the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until lightly golden.
- Let cool completely.
- Whip heavy cream with vanilla extract and salt until stiff peaks form.
- Spread cream on half of the cooled meringue cookies and top with the other half.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- For added flavor, you can incorporate cocoa powder into the cream.
- These cookies pair well with coffee or tea.
