Description

Baked Feta Pasta blends creamy baked feta cheese with roasted cherry tomatoes and pasta for a simple, flavorful, and versatile dish perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 block feta cheese (about 8 ounces)
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a baking dish, combine cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  3. Place block of feta cheese in center of tomato mixture; drizzle additional olive oil on top.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes until tomatoes burst and feta is creamy.
  5. Meanwhile, cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain.
  6. Remove baking dish from oven and mash feta with tomatoes to form a creamy sauce.
  7. Toss cooked pasta with the feta-tomato mixture until well coated.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve warm.
