Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  4. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar and mozzarella until melted.
  7. Add salt, pepper, and paprika to the cheese sauce.
  8. Combine the macaroni with cheese sauce.
  9. Pour into a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
