Description

Delicious banana pudding bars with a creamy filling and a crunchy crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, melted butter, and sugar until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes and cool completely.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk until thick.
  6. Add vanilla extract and sliced bananas to the pudding mixture.
  7. Fold in whipped cream gently.
  8. Spread the pudding mixture over the cooled crust.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes
