- 12 brioche slider buns: Soft and slightly sweet.
- 1/2 cup coleslaw mix: Pre-packaged or homemade.
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise: For binding the coleslaw.
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar: Adds tang to the coleslaw.
- 1 teaspoon sugar: Enhances coleslaw flavors.
- Salt and pepper to taste: For seasoning.
- Fresh parsley, chopped: For garnish.
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine shredded chicken with barbecue sauce until well coated.
- If desired, marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for 30 minutes for enhanced flavor.
- Toast brioche slider buns in the oven until lightly golden.
- On the bottom half of each bun, place a generous scoop of BBQ chicken mixture.
- Add a spoonful of coleslaw on top of the chicken.
- Place the top half of the buns over the coleslaw and secure with a toothpick if desired.
- Return assembled sliders to the oven for about 5 minutes to warm through.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve.
