Description

A delicious combination of beef and cheese wrapped in a crispy tortilla.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned.
  2. Add taco seasoning and mix well.
  3. Warm tortillas in a microwave for 10 seconds.
  4. Spread refried beans on each tortilla.
  5. Add beef and cheese on top of the beans.
  6. Roll up tortillas tightly and secure with toothpicks if needed.
  7. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. Fry chimichangas until golden brown on all sides.
  9. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  10. Serve hot with your favorite salsa.
