Description

A hearty breakfast casserole featuring biscuits and gravy.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 pound of breakfast sausage
  • 4 cups of milk
  • 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage until browned.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour and milk, then add to the sausage.
  4. Cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
  5. In another bowl, beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cut the biscuits into quarters and layer them in a greased baking dish.
  7. Pour the sausage gravy over the biscuits.
  8. Pour the egg mixture on top, then sprinkle with cheese.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
