Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 egg yolk for egg wash

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter and eggs to the flour mixture.
  4. Pour in the yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
  6. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Divide the dough into 12 pieces and shape into rolls.
  9. Place rolls on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Brush with egg yolk and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
