Description
Buffalo Chicken Dip is a creamy and spicy dip that combines chicken, hot sauce, cream cheese, ranch dressing, and cheddar cheese. Perfect for parties!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (10-ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained
- 3/4 cup hot pepper sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 bunch celery, cut into 4-inch pieces
- 1 (8-ounce) box chicken-flavored crackers
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat the chicken and hot pepper sauce over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Add the softened cream cheese and ranch dressing to the skillet, and stir until the cream cheese melts and blends well with the chicken mixture.
- Mix in half of the shredded Cheddar cheese and stir until fully incorporated. Transfer the mixture to a preheated slow cooker.
- Top the dip with the remaining Cheddar cheese. Cover and cook on low heat for about 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Notes
- For a milder dip, reduce the amount of hot sauce or use a milder version.
- You can substitute ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing for a stronger flavor.
- Shredded rotisserie chicken can be used instead of canned chicken for a fresher taste.
