Description
A simple and flavorful side dish made with buttery garlic and rice.
Ingredients

- 2 cups long-grain rice
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the rinsed rice and stir to coat in butter.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and add salt.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
- Cook for 18-20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in chopped parsley.
Notes
- For added flavor, use chicken broth instead of vegetable broth.
- Garnish with extra parsley before serving.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
