Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar, and oil together.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla to the sugar mixture, then mix well.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  7. Fold in grated carrots and chopped pecans.
  8. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
