Description

A hearty breakfast casserole loaded with cheesy goodness, sausage, and eggs.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 slices of bread, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer the bread cubes in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Spread the cooked sausage over the bread.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and sausage.
  7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden.

Notes

  • Let the casserole sit for 5 minutes before serving.
