Chicken Alfredo is a rich and creamy pasta dish made with tender chicken and a flavorful Alfredo sauce. Perfect for any dinner occasion.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces of fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In a pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions, about 10-11 minutes. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust the consistency with pasta water if needed.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken pieces to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- Substitute chicken with shrimp, grilled vegetables, or tofu for a vegetarian option.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor and texture.
