Description
Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo Bake is a comforting dish with tender chicken, vibrant broccoli, and creamy Alfredo sauce, baked to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked chicken (diced or shredded)
- 4 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
- 1 pound pasta (such as penne or rotini)
- 3 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
- Optional: 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (for added flavor)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, adding broccoli florets during the last two minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, pasta, and broccoli. Pour in the Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss everything to coat.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly with golden edges. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sauté the chicken with garlic or onions before mixing with the other ingredients.
- Don’t overcook the pasta. It will continue cooking in the oven.
- If the bake is too dry, add more Alfredo sauce or milk before baking.
