Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken breasts by pounding them to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
  2. Make the garlic herb butter by mixing softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper, then shape it into a log and chill.
  3. Assemble the Chicken Kiev by placing a piece of chilled butter in the center of each chicken breast, rolling it up tightly, and securing with toothpicks if necessary.
  4. Bread the chicken by rolling it in flour, dipping in beaten eggs, and coating with breadcrumbs.
  5. Cook the Chicken Kiev in hot oil for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
