A creamy and savory chicken marsala pasta dish with mushrooms and herbs.
Ingredients

- 8 oz pasta
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup marsala wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add sliced chicken and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add garlic and mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté until mushrooms are tender.
- Pour in marsala wine and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and cooked chicken back to the skillet. Mix well.
- Combine cooked pasta with the sauce. Stir until coated.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
Notes
- Use any pasta of your choice.
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or broccoli.
