Description

A creamy and savory chicken marsala pasta dish with mushrooms and herbs.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup marsala wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add garlic and mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté until mushrooms are tender.
  5. Pour in marsala wine and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Add heavy cream and cooked chicken back to the skillet. Mix well.
  7. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce. Stir until coated.
  8. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.

Notes

  • Use any pasta of your choice.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or broccoli.
