Description

A delicious blend of chicken parmesan and grilled cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  4. Add shredded chicken on top of the bread.
  5. Top with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese.
  6. Place the second slice of bread on top, butter side up.
  7. Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from heat, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use fresh or leftover chicken.
  • Substitute any cheese you prefer.
  • Pair with a side salad for a complete meal.
