Description

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Riesling wine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken breasts and brown on both sides.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. Add onions and garlic to the skillet; sauté until soft.
  5. Pour in Riesling wine and chicken broth.
  6. Add thyme, salt, and pepper.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet.
  8. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
