Description
Delicious Christmas cinnamon rolls with a sweet, sticky glaze.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Warm the milk and dissolve the yeast in it.
- Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and spread brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
- Roll the dough and cut into 12 pieces.
- Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and water for glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm rolls.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat in the microwave for 10 seconds before serving.
- Experiment with adding nuts or raisins.
