Description

Delicious Christmas cinnamon rolls with a sweet, sticky glaze.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk and dissolve the yeast in it.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough and spread brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
  6. Roll the dough and cut into 12 pieces.
  7. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
  9. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and water for glaze.
  10. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • Reheat in the microwave for 10 seconds before serving.
  • Experiment with adding nuts or raisins.
