Description

Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are a quick, healthy, and delicious snack made with ripe bananas, cinnamon, and sugar for a sweet, crispy treat without deep frying.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium bananas, firm but ripe
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  3. Lightly brush both sides of the banana slices with coconut oil or melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over both sides of the slices.
  5. Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  7. Air fry the banana slices for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Check for doneness starting at 12 minutes.
  8. Transfer the banana chips to a wire rack to cool and crisp up.

  • Use firm but ripe bananas for best texture.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even crisping.
