Description

Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread is a sweet, soft bread that pulls apart easily, coated with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add flour gradually until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Punch down the dough and roll it out. Cut into strips.
  8. Dip each strip in melted butter, then in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  9. Stack the strips in a loaf pan.
  10. Cover and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  11. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes.
  12. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh yeast for best results.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
