Description

Ingredients

  • 10 cups cubed bread
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon dried sage
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and celery, sauté until soft.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cubed bread, sautéed vegetables, and herbs.
  5. Pour chicken broth over the mixture and stir until combined.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
