Description

A hearty and flavorful potato casserole with a cowboy twist.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups of diced potatoes
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with diced onion.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked beef, diced potatoes, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
