Description

A delicious and visually appealing dish that combines salmon with a savory crab and shrimp filling, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a healthy meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1 cup crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)
  • 1 cup shrimp (peeled, deveined, and chopped)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the salmon fillets by slicing horizontally into each fillet to create a pocket.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, garlic, and lemon juice. Add breadcrumbs, dill, black pepper, and salt, mixing until well combined.
  3. Stuff each salmon pocket with the filling, pressing gently to secure it inside.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the stuffed salmon in a greased baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and the filling is heated and slightly golden.
  6. Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving, optionally drizzling with extra lemon juice and garnishing with dill.

Notes

  • Be careful not to overstuff the salmon to prevent it from breaking apart.
  • Always preheat the oven for even cooking.
  • Use softened cream cheese for easier mixing.
  • Let the salmon rest after baking for better flavor.
  • Taste the filling before stuffing to adjust seasoning.
