Ingredients

- 4 cups water
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- In a pot, bring water to a boil.
- Slowly whisk in the cornmeal to avoid lumps.
- Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring frequently, for about 30 minutes.
- Stir in the butter and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add salt to taste and serve warm.

- Use freshly grated Parmesan for better flavor.
- Adjust the consistency by adding more water if needed.
- Top with additional cheese or herbs for extra flavor.
