A creamy Tuscan sausage pasta bake that is hearty and flavorful.

- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add the garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach to the skillet. Cook until spinach wilts.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until heated through.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sausage mixture in a large bowl.
- Add half of the Parmesan cheese and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute turkey sausage for a lighter option.
- Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
- Add more vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini for extra nutrition.
