Description
A hearty and comforting dish featuring pierogi and kielbasa cooked in a slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 1 package frozen pierogi (16 oz)
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Layer half of the pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add half of the kielbasa, onion, and sauerkraut on top.
- Sprinkle with half of the cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Pour chicken broth over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Before serving, mix in sour cream and season with salt and pepper.
Notes
- Use any flavor of pierogi you prefer.
- For a creamier dish, add more sour cream.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms.
