Description

Delicious chicken wings that are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 kg (about 2.2 lbs) chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Lime juice (optional)
  • Fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary, optional)
  • Smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, Sriracha sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well mixed.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss until fully coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably up to 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top.
  5. Remove the wings from the marinade, shaking off excess liquid, and arrange them in a single layer on the wire rack.
  6. Bake the wings for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. In the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the wings with any leftover marinade for extra flavor.
  8. Let the wings rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with dipping sauces.

  • Do not skip the drying step for crispy wings.
  • Marinate for longer for enhanced flavor.
  • Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet.
  • Flip the wings halfway through cooking for even browning.
