Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup eggnog
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the eggs, eggnog, and vanilla; mix well.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before frosting.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding a dash of rum extract.
- Top with whipped cream for a festive touch.
