Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onion and garlic. Cook until the onions are soft.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 10 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Toast the hamburger buns.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto the buns and top with Swiss cheese.
- Serve hot.
