- Juice of half a lemon (optional)
Instructions
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Let rest 15 minutes.
- Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to low, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return chicken to skillet, coat with garlic butter sauce. Squeeze lemon juice over if desired. Cook 1 more minute to warm through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
