Ingredients
- Ground turkey: 1 lb (450 g)
- Cauliflower florets: 4 cups (about 1 medium head)
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Unsalted butter: 4 tablespoons (56 g)
- Fresh thyme: 2 teaspoons, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
- Onion: 1 medium, diced
- Black pepper: to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup (50 g)
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients: wash and cut cauliflower into florets, mince garlic, and dice onion.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- Add ground turkey to the skillet, season with black pepper, and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned.
- Add minced garlic and cauliflower florets to the skillet, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional 8-10 minutes until cauliflower is tender.
- Add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and chopped thyme, stirring to coat the cauliflower. Remove from heat and mix in grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
