Ingredients
- Long-grain rice: 1 cup (about 200 grams)
- Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
- Parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup, grated (about 50 grams)
- Butter: 2 tablespoons (about 30 grams)
- Chicken broth: 2 cups (about 480 ml)
- Fresh parsley: 1/4 cup, chopped (about 15 grams)
- Salt: to taste
- Black pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients.
- Rinse the long-grain rice in cold water until the water runs clear.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the rinsed rice to the saucepan and stir to coat in the garlic butter, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth, season with salt and black pepper, and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
