Description
Sweet and spicy gochujang caramel popcorn with sesame seeds.
Ingredients

- 1 cup popcorn kernels
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup gochujang
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
Instructions
- Pop the popcorn kernels using your preferred method.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, gochujang, corn syrup, and salt.
- Heat over medium until the mixture boils, stirring constantly.
- Allow to boil for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in sesame seeds.
- Pour the caramel over the popcorn and mix well.
- Spread the popcorn onto a baking sheet to cool.
- Break into pieces and serve.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Adjust the gochujang for desired spice level.
- You can add nuts for extra crunch.
