Description
Delicious Greek meatballs served in a tangy lemon sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well and form into small meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the meatballs on all sides.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in lemon juice and cook for 10 minutes.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh lemon juice for better flavor.
- Serve with rice or pita bread.
- Adjust seasoning according to taste.
