Description

Grilled Chicken Skewers with Ranch Marinade are a flavorful and easy-to-make dish perfect for any occasion. The creamy, garlicky ranch marinade infuses the chicken with delicious flavor and keeps it tender and juicy, making it a favorite for barbecues, family dinners, or casual meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine ranch dressing, parmesan cheese, olive oil, minced garlic, dried parsley, black pepper, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  2. Place the cubed chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Coat all pieces evenly, then seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for best flavor).
  3. Soak wooden skewers in water for 15 minutes if using; skip if using metal skewers.
  4. Thread marinated chicken cubes onto skewers, leaving space between pieces.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and reaches 165°F internally.
  6. Remove skewers from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley or extra parmesan if desired and serve hot.

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd the skewers to ensure even cooking.
  • Marinate the chicken longer for deeper flavor.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
  • Serve with sides like salad, corn, or pasta salad.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
