Description

Delicious grilled shrimp and pineapple skewers for a summer barbecue.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pineapple, cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers, soaked in water if wooden

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add shrimp and pineapple to the bowl and toss to coat.
  4. Thread shrimp and pineapple onto skewers, alternating between them.
  5. Place skewers on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  6. Remove from grill and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
