Description

Gyro meat is a popular Greek dish made from seasoned meat, typically served in a pita with vegetables and sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of lamb or beef
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. Add water, and combine until smooth.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf.
  5. Place the loaf on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes or until cooked through.
  7. Let it rest before slicing thinly.
