Ingredients

- 2 pounds of lamb or beef
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the meat with all the spices and olive oil.
- Add water, and combine until smooth.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf.
- Place the loaf on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until cooked through.
- Let it rest before slicing thinly.
Notes
- Serve with pita bread and tzatziki sauce.
- You can use chicken or pork as an alternative.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
