  • 1 cup diced yellow onion
  • 2/3 cup liquid honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic puree
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 4 brioche hamburger buns
  • 1 cup spring mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large sauté pan over medium-high heat, add ground chicken with a dab of margarine or butter. Crumble and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned and no longer pink.
  3. Add diced onions to the pan and cook until soft and translucent.
  4. Add honey, soy sauce, white vinegar, garlic puree, pepper, and salt. Stir to coat and bring mixture to a boil.
  5. In a small bowl, mix water and corn starch until smooth. Add to the chicken mixture, stir well, and cook for 2 minutes until sauce thickens.
