Ingredients
- Beef sirloin: 500 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
- Honey: 1/4 cup (60 ml)
- Dijon mustard: 1/4 cup (60 ml)
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons (30 ml)
- Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons (30 ml)
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Salt: 1 teaspoon (5 grams)
- Black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon (2 grams)
- Fresh herbs: such as parsley or chives, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the beef by cutting it into 2.5 cm cubes and placing it in a bowl.
- Make the honey mustard sauce by combining honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper in a medium bowl.
- Marinate the beef by adding it to the honey mustard sauce and ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the marinated beef cubes on the sheet.
- Bake the beef bites for 15-20 minutes, then broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for a glossy finish.
- Let the beef bites rest for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.

- For a spicier version, add chili flakes to the marinade.
- Vegetables can be added to the dish for a healthier option.
- Chicken can be used instead of beef, adjusting cooking time accordingly.
