Description

Lasagna roll ups are a tasty twist on traditional lasagna. They are filled with cheese and sauce, rolled up, and baked until bubbly.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Take one noodle and spread a portion of the cheese mixture on it. Roll it up and place it seam side down in the baking dish.
  6. Repeat with remaining noodles and cheese mixture.
  7. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the roll ups and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
