Description
A simple and fresh lemon asparagus pasta dish.
Ingredients

- 200g spaghetti
- 150g asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
- In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add asparagus to the pasta.
- Drain pasta and asparagus, reserving a bit of pasta water.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add cooked pasta and asparagus to the pan.
- Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- If needed, add reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- Serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

- Use fresh asparagus for the best flavor.
- Customize with your favorite vegetables.
- Can be served warm or cold.
