Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the diced potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  4. Add sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper to the potatoes and mash until smooth.
  5. Stir in half of the cheddar cheese, green onions, and bacon.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
