Description

A hearty and delicious breakfast casserole loaded with nacho flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 8 oz tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the ground sausage in a skillet until browned.
  3. In a baking dish, layer half of the tortilla chips.
  4. Add half of the cooked sausage over the chips.
  5. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the sausage.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining chips, sausage, and cheese.
  7. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salsa, salt, and pepper.
  8. Pour the egg mixture over the layered casserole.
  9. Top with diced green onions.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set.
