Description

Lumpia is a traditional Filipino spring roll filled with a mix of vegetables and meat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup ground pork
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 package lumpia wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground pork, carrots, bean sprouts, green onions, and soy sauce.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Take a lumpia wrapper and place a spoonful of the filling in the center.
  4. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly.
  5. Seal the edges with a bit of water.
  6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the lumpia until golden brown on all sides.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Notes

  • Serve with sweet chili sauce.
  • You can substitute pork with chicken or shrimp.
  • Make sure the oil is hot before frying to avoid sogginess.
